Astrid Villarreal

Astrid is a Mitigation Specialist at OCFW, where she works on complex fact and mitigation investigation. She joined the office in 2025. Prior to coming to OCFW, Astrid worked at the Travis County Public Defender’s Office as a fact investigator, working on behalf of indigent clients with charges ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies. Prior to her investigative work, Astrid received her B.S. in Psychology and minor in Sociology from Texas A&M University. Astrid is honored to be a part of OCFW and contribute to our mission by being a curious and compassionate mitigation specialist.
