Under Ben's leadership, OCFW has represented over 50 clients in dozens of Texas counties and expanded to represent persons serving non-capital sentence tainted by junk science.

Sarah is the Deputy Director at OCFW. Prior to joining OCFW in 2017, Sarah worked for State Counsel for Offenders, a Texas statewide public defender office that represents incarcerated persons in Texas.

Kelsey Peregoy is a Supervising Attorney at the OCFW. Kelsey joined the OCFW in 2020, and previously served as the OCFW's Training Director. Prior to joining the OCFW, Kelsey represented death-sentenced individuals in Florida in federal postconviction proceedings and under-warrant litigation.

Charell Arnold is a Supervising Attorney with OCFW. Prior to joining OCFW in 2023, Charell was a Supervising Attorney with Innocence Project New Orleans (IPNO), where she investigated and litigated on behalf of the wrongfully convicted since 2013.

Rachel is the mitigation investigation supervisor at OCFW.  Prior to joining OCFW in 2019,  she worked with defense teams on complex cases in Travis County, Texas. 

Bonnie is a Supervising Mitigation Specialist. Prior to joining the Office of Capital and Forensic Writs, Bonnie was the lead investigator at Mayer Consulting, a criminal defense investigation firm in Travis County.
