Bonnie Bacarisse

Bonnie is a supervising mitigation specialist at OCFW, where she works on complex fact and mitigation investigation, and supervises mitigation specialists. She joined the office in 2019. Prior to coming to OCFW, Bonnie served as the lead investigator at a criminal defense firm in Travis County, working on behalf of indigent clients facing serious felonies, including capital-murder charges. Prior to her investigative work, Bonnie worked as a research specialist and policy analyst on statewide campaigns and in both the Texas House and Senate. She received her B.A. in History and Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin, concentrating on the intersection of law and family.
