Cristina I. Ramirez is a Senior Post-Conviction Attorney with OCFW. Prior to joining OCFW, she served as the Criminal Defense Lead at the Sissy Farenthold Reproductive Justice Defense Project at the University of Texas School of Law. Cristina has dedicated most of her legal career to public defense, serving as a trial public defender in Travis County, Dallas County, and New York City. She earned her B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law. During law school, she served as a student attorney in the Criminal Defense Clinic and completed internships with Greater Boston Legal Services, the New England Innocence Project, the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office, and the Public Defender Service for D.C.
