Hailey McHorse

Hailey is a born and raised Austinite. She attended Lewis & Clark College, where she graduated with high honors while earning dual degrees in Mathematics and History and participating in the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program. Prior to joining to the OCFW, she worked as a research assistant in the history department at Lewis & Clark, investigating the origins and development of felon disenfranchisement in the United States. She also worked at an environmental nonprofit, leading campaigns to protect air and water quality in Texas. In her free time, Hailey serves on the team of Nutrition INSIDE, a non-profit dedicated to improving food access for incarcerated individuals by redirecting surplus nutritious food to correctional facilities. She is delighted to be a part of the team and uplift the OCFW's mission by flexibly handling any matters of need.
