Heather Richard
Heather Richard joined OCFW in 2021 after completing a two-year legal fellowship at the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama. After graduating from Yale Law School in 2018, Heather clerked for the Hon. William J. Kayatta, Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Heather Richard joined OCFW in 2021 after completing a two-year legal fellowship at the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama. After graduating from Yale Law School in 2018, Heather clerked for the Hon. William J. Kayatta, Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. As a law student, Heather participated in the Capital Punishment and Ethics Bureau clinics, worked with New Haven Legal Assistance, and interned for the ACLU Racial Justice Program. Heather is also a summa cum laude graduate of Amherst College, where she double-majored in Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought and Spanish.
