Ifechi Ugwu

Ifechi Ugwu is a Mitigation Specialist at OCFW. She began her career in indigent criminal defense investigations as an Investigative Intern at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia in 2018. Ifechi came to OCFW from the Orleans Public Defenders where she worked as an Investigator on adult and juvenile felony cases. While in New Orleans, she uncovered facts and witnesses to support defense teams on pre-indictment cases, trial cases, and resentencing cases. Ifechi received her B.A in Public Policy and French from the College of William & Mary.
