Justice Kaigler

Justice is a Post-Conviction Attorney at OCFW. Prior to joining, Justice worked as a Public Defender representing individuals charged with felony charges in Burnet, Llano, and Blanco Counties.

Background

Prior to joining OCFW, Justice worked at the North Hill Country Public Defender’s Office as a misdemeanor Public Defender and later as a felony Public Defender. Justice represented individuals charged with everything from theft to sexual assault and manslaughter. Justice worked on sexual assault cases where juveniles faced adult prison time and represented hundreds of individuals who were suffering with mental illness. As a law student, Justice spent three semesters in the Capital Punishment Clinic at the University of Texas. During this time, Justice worked on the investigation for a clemency application and drafting a part of a Capital direct appeal.
