Maria Chavez

Prior to joining OCFW, Maria worked for Neighborhood Defender Service as a staff attorney representing individuals facing criminal charges under Operation Lone Star. As a law student, Maria participated in the Joyce Ann Brown Innocence Clinic, worked with Jane’s Due Process, Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas, and the Crockett Law Firm in Dallas. She is a graduate of UNT Dallas College of Law and Texas Tech University.
