Background
Prior to joining OCFW, Marissa spent three years as a trial attorney with the Federal Defenders of San Diego. While at Federal Defenders, Marissa defended indigent individuals charged with federal felonies, including drug trafficking, illegal reentry, and non-citizen smuggling offenses. Marissa graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Biological Sciences and received her JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
