Bonnie Bacarisse

Bonnie is a senior mitigation specialist and supervises the mitigation specialist interns. Prior to joining the Office of Capital and Forensic Writs, Bonnie was the lead investigator at Mayer Consulting, a criminal defense investigation firm in Travis County. Bonnie specialized in working on behalf of indigent clients accused of serious felonies, including several accused of capital murder. Prior to becoming an investigator, Bonnie worked as a research specialist and policy analyst on campaigns and in the Texas House and Senate. Bonnie received her B.A. in History and Sociology from the University of Texas, where she focused on the intersection of law and family in early modern England.
