About OCFW

Since 2010, the Office of Capital and Forensic Writs (OCFW) has proudly worked to ensure that convictions and sentences are constitutional, reliable, and untainted by questionable forensic science. We are the post-conviction public defender for the State of Texas and serve to protect the integrity of the criminal legal system through holistic, zealous advocacy and expert litigation.
